Q: What? a zombie walk?
A: A zombie walk is a public manifestation, where participants walk around dressed as zombies and have zombie makeup. It’s free and open to everyone. Zombie walks have been organized before in several cities all around the world since 2005.
Q: Will there be a zombie party after the walk or everybody goes back to the cemetery?
A: The Official after-walk party gonna be at Katacombes (1635 Saint-Laurent, corner of Ontario) right after the walk. 18 years old and +. Details: Facebook Event
Q: Can we bring kids?
A: Everybody is welcome, although remember that some kids could be scared as they might not share the same taste for zombies as you do.
Q: Do we have to be dressed as a zombie for the Zombie Walk?
A: You don’t have to be dressed as a zombie but it is highly recommended, as if half the people are just following around without a costume, there’s no point being in a zombie walk. Remember that it’s a free public event and that there are no obligations except obey to the guidelines so everybody can have fun. Guidelines
Q: Can we be dressed as zombie hunters or survivors?
A: Yes, but absolutely no weapons of any kind will be tolerated, real or fake. We will have zero tolerance as this was imposed by the authorities to let us organize the walk.
Q: When do we have to be there and what’s the route?
A: We leave from the Place des Festivals (Metro Place-des-Arts) at 3;00pm, this year we wander through the streets of the Old Montreal. The official itinerary
Q: It is possible to be “zombified” at the Place des Festivals?
A: Yes, you can be “zombified” at the Halloween Expert tent from noon to 3pm in exchange of 10$ (tip not included). It’s better to come early because we do not take reservations. * Don’t forget to bring old clothes.
Q: Do we have to sign on somewhere or we just show up there?
A: No need to sign on for this year. You just need to show up dressed as a zombie with your makeup on at Place des festivals at 3:00PM
Q: Do we need to have our costume ready upon arriving at Place des Festivals?
A: Yes, you can finish your costume upon arriving here but it will be pretty crowded so it’s better to be ready when you arrive. See link page.
